Calea Zacatechichi Dream Herb

Calea Zacatechichi Dream Herb

Used traditionally in Oxaca Mexico amongst the same tribes who use Salvia Divinorum. The Indians claim that it clarifies the senses, creates a general sense of well being and induces spectacular dreams.

Calea increases the frequency of lucid dreams but not automatically. Instead, dreams usually become more realistic and memorable to the individual. A controlled sleep study showed that ingesting Calea tea before bedtime increased the number of dreams recalled. This phenomenon is the result of Calea activating the 'Memory Continuity Facilitator' in the brain which prevents the mental “jumping“ around from place and time in dreams.

Effects:

As a side effect, Calea can also produce feelings of well-being that can continue for one or more days. At lower doses, Calea produces a mild euphoric feeling that is similar to cannabis. At all dosage levels, mental clarity and time lagging is usually experienced. Currently there are no noted side effects from using Calea.

Dosage:

Calea can be smoked or made into a tea

Damiana

Damiana

Damiana is a small shrub that grows 1-2 m high and bears aromatic, serrated leaves that are 10-25 cm long. Damiana leaves have been used historically as an aphrodisiac to boost sexual potency in both men and women by the native people of Mexico. Often used to support treatments of sterility, diabetes, bladder infection and asthma, Damiana is also said to possess mild sedative qualities, able to induce a state of relaxation and to aid in falling asleep.

Incredibly soothing and stimulating feelings were reported when mixed with Skullcap.

Commonly Damiana is taken as a tea made by adding 2 to 4 grams of dried leaves to about 8 ounces of boiling water. Up to three cups of this tea may be consumed daily.

Kratom Leaves

Kratom Leaves

Kratom is widely used in its native Thailand where it has been made illegal.

Kratom leaves were used to treat everything from diarrhea, opium addiction and pain. Kratom was also used quite frequently by the lower laboring classes as a recreational drug to escape from their daily hardships. The effects come on fairly quickly, within 10 minutes or so, and are remarkably pleasurable. Quite a lot like opium; relaxation and sedation, analgesia, and euphoria.

Effect:

Kratom is unique because it induces distinct effects depending on the dosage level. At lower doses, a stimulating effect is felt. An individual will feel more alert, talkative, sociable and energetic. In addition, sexual energy is also frequently increased. At higher dosages, Kratom produces extremely pleasurable, euphoric effects that are often accompanied by closed-eye visuals. The effects of Kratom last for about 4-6 hours, but the residual lingering effects may last longer

Dosage:

Historically in Thailand, Kratom leaves were usually chewed because fresh leaves were readily available. Nowadays, where dried leaves are the norm, Kratom is usually taken as a tea
